Trace Employee Spotlight: Dave Buck

This month our employee spotlight is Dave Buck! Dave is the National Sales Director for Trace Medical and we have interviewed him to showcase his hard work at Trace Medical, and here is what he had to say:


What is Your Job Title and What Do You Do at Trace Medical? 

Title: National Sales Director

What he does: I work closely with existing Trace Medical customers to support their ventilator needs and manage our sales team's efforts to continuously develop new business.

How Many Years of Experience Do You Have and How Many Years Have Your Been at Trace Medical?

I have over 30 years of experience in the Durable Medical Equipment and Healthcare field and have been with Trace Medical since January 2017.

What is Your Favorite Part of Your Job?

The relationship building, getting to know our customers on a personal level and how Trace can best support their needs and growth. 

What Does the Typical Day Look Like for You at Trace Medical?

I work closely with our customer service team, operations, sales team, and management team each day. Most of my time is spent on customer outreach with a priority to make sure all orders are processed in a timely manner. I also work closely with our manufacturer partners to support their efforts and referrals to Trace as more and more providers consider rental as an option for acquiring ventilators

What is One Thing You Wish Everyone Knew about Trace Medical? 

That our team is in constant communication about supporting the needs of our customers and everyone operates with a high level of integrity.

What Makes You Proud About Working at Trace Medical?

I am very proud of the tremendous growth that Trace has achieved and our reputation as a company that is easy to work with and provides a high level of customer service. We are constantly looking for new and creative ways to improve and expand our reach.

What Do You Like to do in Your Free Time? 

I enjoy spending time with my wife and family. We enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending the summer months on Lake Erie. 

If You Could go Anywhere in the World, Where Would it Be?

We have been traveling to the National Parks here in the United States and hope to see the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone soon.
