Cady Speck, a Sales Specialist, joined Trace Medical in November and has quickly become an invaluable member of our sales team. With five years of experience in the HME industry, Cady brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to her role. We had the pleasure of interviewing Cady to learn more about her work, her passions, and what drives her at Trace Medical.
What is Your Job Title and What Do You Do at Trace Medical?
Title: Sales Specialist
What she does: "I currently manage a handful of DME accounts across the country and within that helping them run their services and repairs as smoothly as possible."
How Many Years of Experience Do You Have and How Many Years Have You Been at Trace Medical?
"I have 5 years in the HME Industry (I’m still a newbie) and recently joined the Trace Medical Sales Team this past November."
What is Your Favorite Part of Your Job?
"Helping our clients and DME providers provide lifesaving medical equipment to their patients."
What Does the Typical Day Look Like for You at Trace Medical?
"Each day looks different, but I spend time communicating and interacting with my customers. I like to make sure my customers have all the HME equipment they need when they need it the most. I also spend time prioritizing leads and assisting with key accounts to help solve problems within their fleets and repairs needs."
What is One Thing You Wish Everyone Knew about Trace Medical?
"How dedicated every employee is to the 'patient first' company statement. Being new, this is something I have always taken to heart when I am involved in anything I manage."
What Makes You Proud About Working at Trace Medical?
"It is our commitment to providing respiratory care equipment to DME providers and their patients in need. Being a part of a company that has that same drive is a great feeling. Trace Medical focuses on relationship building, commitment to providers, and has a strong ethical structure. I can say that I’m proud to be a part of a reputable organization."
What Do You Like to Do in Your Free Time?
"I love spending time with my family and close friends. Also, anything outdoors! You will find me paddleboarding and hiking at the Cleveland Metroparks. I am an avid crossfitter, enjoy Pilates, and can’t beat off-roading with Jeeps."
If You Could Go Anywhere in the World, Where Would it Be?
"A 2-week European trip. Food, history, and wine. Why not!"
